Letter to Glee

Dear Glee,
A few things.
First of all, re: episode 2, dyeing your hair pink and choosing to identify with a subculture does not make you an unfit mother. (Digression: I feel like I'm not sure why the show referred to Quinn's new crew as Skanks considering the term has a connotation that ... I don't think applied to any of them?) Sure, smoking when underage, forcing others to give you money, and cutting class might be considered activity that an adoptive mother would choose to keep at bay from her child. But those are specific activities that need to be addressed, much as Puck apparently stopped doing drugs and drinking. But nobody told Puck he had to get rid of his mohawk -- why does getting Quinn to "who she is" focus so much on changing her hairstyle and fashion sense.
I say this as someone who VASTLY prefers the pink-haired Quinn, only continued watching Glee this season because I saw a gif of her new style, and only got around to watching the most recent two episodes because I wanted to see more of Quinn with the Skanks, but I was 1.) vastly disappointed she went blonde again and 2.) incredibly unnerved at how they tried to paint this picture of what a "normal" student should be like and basically forced Quinn into it.
Second of all, re: episode 3, plz more Mike Chang dancing. When imaginary Tina told him she fell in love with him because of his dancing, I was shouting, "So did I!" at the screen. <3 Mike Chang.
Third of all, I totally thought the whole Episode-2-Kurt storyline was going to end up with Kurt auditioning for the role of Maria, and the directors rewriting West Side Story so that it was about the forbidden romance of two guys from rival gangs. Episode 3 totally didn't go there, though. And I am TOTALLY on Mercedes's side. I would be a little less on her side if Rachel hadn't so plainly been aware that Mercedes was better, and Rachel is the last person to mean that as anything but the truth. Also, I hate Will Schuester and think he is a terrible teacher and immature adult, and I agree with Mercedes when she accused him of favoring Rachel. I swear, he's worse than Kakashi.
No love,
Me
