I'm behind on NaNo, and yet, instead of working on my NaNo, I spent the last 24 hours working on Vorkosiverse fic, and then tossing off Harry Potter fic (which really tend to be my go-to, easy-as-pie fandom -- used to be Sailor Moon, but I haven't FINISHED anything Sailor Moon related in AGES). I mean, if I wanted to procrastinate through productive outlets, there are really far more important RL things I could be working on.

When he first started out, before he had quite made a name for himself, most of his recruitment relied on charm and persuasion rather than intimidation. We are fortunate to have unearthed a transcript of one of his early political speeches to a group of politically moderate witches and wizards. Anecdata indicates that this particular speech resulted in a 100% recruitment rate.
