Re: Star Trek: You know, I have so many awesome authors on my flist who write so much awesome Winona fic that I'd forgotten how much Winona-is-terrible fanfic there is out there. Not my thing.

Re: Avatar: I finished watching the season finale just now because of Mark Watches Avatar, and now I have all sorts of fanfic that I want to read. For example, I want to read fanfic where Ozai is still a political manipulative sneaky enemy despite losing his firebending, and he almost organizes a political coup from within his jail cell only to be foiled at the last minute by Mai (with Zuko's help). And Aang realizes that just taking away his firebending isn't actually an effective punishment.

Or fanfic where a psychologist visits Azula and she has regressed to childhood and is playing with dolls and asks for her Mommy a lot and talks in a childish voice, and the psychologist presents all sorts of therapy ideas to Zuko and Ursa who give him the side-eye and are like, "... Azula was totally playing you. She's never played with dolls in her life." And fire him because if he's so easily fooled, he won't be much help.

Re: Battlestar Galactica: I really, really want to read well-written Laura Roslin/Lee Adama fanfic but unfortunately I've only watched up to season 1 episode 1, so don't want to spoil myself too much by reading fanfic set in the future. But I think by I get to the end of the show, I might be over my Laura Roslin/Lee Adama thing, especially since I think the show pushes Laura Rosline/Adama Senior.

I want to read all those Avatar fics. I also want a really high-quality, plotty Zuki/Mai fic. All the ones I've seen are either pretty short or not very good, and I ship them like FIRE FLAKES.
