So due to a combination of events beyond my control* and my own slightly awkward nature**, I just had the most awkward birthday dinner I've ever had. It was still fun and tasty, though.
*Note: if you have a birthday dinner for someone, telling them beforehand helps.
**If the ratio of extroverted to introverted people in a room is greater than one, I'm generally perfectly fine. If the ratio is less than one, however, I don't fare so well.

Date: 2011-06-24 08:09 am (UTC)I can relate on the whole birthday dinner thing. I hope the surprise was pleasant, at least. Am I to assume that your birthday dinner was unusually awkward due to the flux of introverted people?
Either way, I hope you enjoyed it thoroughly! :)

The deliciousness made up for it, right? Right.
