but a few things first: - Snape is obviously not evil, for various reasons that have been details on other weblogs. I could write an essay, but most of it's been written. - Harry is in love with Draco Malfoy. no. further. elaboration. necessary. - HBP: where JKR emulated Tamora Pierce. okay, so it wasn't that bad. but the snogging was pretty bad. and Tonks&Lupin, W.T.F. - where did Hagrid go? he's just...gone. along with Cho, but no one really missed her...Ron and Hermione no longer play useful roles in the plot. They're just there for...emotional turmoil. - newly introduced characters and likewise characterization all surpassed those prior to them. actually, I think this book is admirable solely for it's characterization and imagery, cos the plot sucked. little things, too, such as the lucky charms potion and the hbp's potions books provided mental teasers. if only CAPSLOCK!Harry were not replaced by stalker!Harry...::sigh::
