1.) Lots and lots and lots of girls decide to dress up as boys and attend all-boys' schools, usually for athletic reasons but occasionally because of serendipity. They will always end up being walked in while naked with their roommate, who they shall eventually fall asleep with. I can think of 5 manga off the top of my head that this describes.

2.) Most male pop stars in Japan and models, those really androgynous ones? They're really girls who look very boyish, and were spotted by a talent agent who conned them into making a fortune as a celebrity of the opposite sex. They experience hijinks on a daily basis as they try to hide their secret celebrity lifestyle. Imagine if every male pop star were actually Hannah Montana underneath!

3.) Many piano teachers are sadists who abuse their students.

4.) It takes me, on average, 5 minutes to get through 1 chapter of manga (roughly 50 pages), but would be faster if I weren't on mangafox, and my Internet/browser/life weren't so slow.

5.) It is very easy for a guy to look like a girl. And vice versa.

6.) The girl almost never ends up with the guy I like.

7.) Manga can be short! (I'm too used to reading epics, like Naruto, or TRC, that drain my brain ...)

8.) I can't tell the difference between shoujo and shounen, the romance vs. fighting aside. Tokyo Crazy Paradise, for example, I would consider a shoujo because I like the romance ... and then I remember there's a lot of fighting ... but it's not all about the fighting ... nor is it all about the shoujo. In confusion, I consult the handy=dandy Internet, which tells me that it is indeed shoujo.

9.) When people say something, 90% of the time, they mean the opposite.

10.) If you cannot already tell, gender bender, by nature of genre, has very few plots. It just ... does them over and over and over again.
