Last Week, in Summary
Jun. 12th, 2008 02:22 pmI now have two summer internships, so no more lectures on that from my parents ... BUT one of my summer internships wants me to do more work than I am willing, considering I really don't want to man a booth for two days, with pretty much no help.
I found Elizabeth Moon's Heris Serrano series to be amazingly wonderful ... BUT I read all 7 Heris Serrano books in 36 hours, and had Serrano'd myself out by the middle of the 5th book, so I no longer like the series as much as when I started.
I went to Kansas City and saw my baby cousin, who's coming to visit again this weekend ... BUT
my grandma's in the hospital again, so it's not really a family reunion.
I finally caught up with my manga ... AND Tsubasa and Nana both reek of utter CRACK.
My snack foods consist of healthy tofu and watermelon (WATERMELON SEASON <3) ... ALSO not-so-healthy ice cream bars and Pringles.
I bought a pair of shoes yesterday ... BUT not the pair I wanted to buy, the pair I meant to buy, or the pair that I really needed.
I met up with my friends when we watched Shakespeare in the Park ... BUT Richard III was boring and made me fall asleep, despite the anachronistic bits.
I have run out of attempts to be clever or witty. The only other exciting bit of my life was when I drove on my own for the very first time and DID NOT CRASH!!! Even though I may have driven WAY below the speed limit occasionally ...
