Thoughts Upon Reread, Chapters 13-16

There are fewer comments because these chapters are kinda more action-packed.

Ch. 13

-re pamphlets: real subtle
-poisonous duck! is that the one from Book 5?
-It's kinda interesting to read about Umbridge again after seeing her in the movie ...
-The Cattermoles are so stupid ...!

Ch. 14

-Ah! If he felt as badly for Kreacher as I do, the least he could do would be to summon Kreacher and tell him to hide! [Later: note, I guess he has a reason for not summoning Kreacher, but I feel so bad for Kreacher, poor guy.]
-Ron's so injured!
-What is lumbago?
-I have a thing to say about the Taboo and that is this -- take that all your Mary Sues and Gary Stus who inexplicably say Voldemort's name even though nobody else does. You get pwned by Voldemort!
-Okay, why doesn't Harry put the Horcrux-locket inside his mokeskin pouch! Or inside Hermione's Mary Poppins-esque handbag! They carry those around all the time, it would be safe. Actually, if Harry put it in his mokeskin pouch, nobody else could take it out.

Ch. 15

-JKR certainly character-recycles. Of the 5 who meet up, 4 were previous mentioned. We already know Ted Tonks and Dean Thomas. Dirk Cresswell was continually mentioned during the Ministry breakin, and Griphook hails from Book I. The only character I don't recognize is Gornuk, and for all I know he could have been named in Book I, too.
-Also, the Ron development is certainly interesting, I think. I think it is important for a variety of reasons, chief among them being that their later reunion makes their bond all the more stronger. I'm sure all the Ron-haters out there who wrote essays about him being Harry's Pettigrew were ecstatic and sure they were right, and were so disappointed later on.
-Personally, I think not being dead is a pretty good achievement, not an "only."

Ch. 16

-Harry staring at Ginny's dot every night is ... kinda creepy.
-This will make a great movie.
-Phineas as the new Ron? I missed that the first time through.
-What is a kissing gate?
-Um, this chapter was just kinda blah ... I didn't really care about Harry's tearful reunion with the dead body of his parents and the next chapter just makes me mad at his stupidity ....

Just like how all the Mary Sue's and such say Voldemort, I rather dislike it when normal people say the Dark Lord. 'Cause only the Death Eaters say that, in case we haven't noticed. (Or at least as far as I know, they are the only ones to say it.)
