Ch. 5

-Bubble! I <3 Harry's visualization
-"for medicinal purposes" ... sure, Hagrid, we believe you. :)
-Harry has a signature move now? Still, that has to be stupidest reason for believing he was the real Harry that I have ever heard.
-"Harry is the best hope we have. Trust him." *tears up* *moves on*
-I still *heart* Fred and George. So. Much.
-Lupin has somehow become v. bitter since Book 6. Seriously.
-Also, I see how sticking Harry with the seemingly most useless protector is a huge fakeout and good camouflage but ... still ...
-Also, tell me something. Is it just me or are the dreams that were so terrible in Book 5 and resulted in Sirius's death now suddenly good and helpful? What, did Voldemort forget how to Occlumend, or how to implant false memories, or how to Leglimend? Is he just assuming that Harry isn't powerful enough to make use of any info he gets? Especially after Movie 5 JUST came out, I notice how much Voldemort is ignoring the connection, which isn't like him.

Ch. 6

-What is a "mangle"?
-Who is it that supports Puddlemere united? And what are bulrushes?
-Harry's a terrible liar.
-Charity Burbank mention!
-"Merlin's saggy left" what, Ron?
-Hermione is so smart and prepared!
-"not least because it was highly unusual for Ron to be teaching anyone else tact ..."
-"He's me, see?" "No, I don't."
-What's an "uvula"?
-Hermione's amorality cracks me up. Go, Hermione!
-Remind me why they just dropped Secrets of the Darkest Art on the floor and left it there?
-The Delacours aer so cute.
-Okay, I'm glad Harry's feeling bad for things instead of blaming everyone else like normal, but all this guilt is seriously getting on my nerves.

Ch. 7

-At first I thought Ron had given Harry porn.
-Does Harry actually ever USE the mokeskin?
-I really like Hermione's retort.
-As well as Harry's.
-I almost feel bad for Scrimgouer.
-This is a fun chapter.

Ch. 8

-Lupin needs to lighten up. Seriously.
-Luna rocks.
-Ah, I caught it, the "always the tone of surprise" retort, throwing Ron's words back at him.
-Viktor!!! <3 "Vot is the point of being an international Quidditch player if all the good-looking girls are taken?"
-I like how Krum's dislike of Xenophilius's symbol is a bit like how swastikas are automatically associated with Nazis even though the symbol itself originated elsewhere, which was mentioned in DaVinci Code, and which I'm not smart enough to remember off the top of my head.
-And that was a rather dramatic ending.
-Also, what kind of name is Xenophilius? Race-lover?

A mangle (as it is called in the United Kingdom) or wringer (as it is called in the United States) is a mechanical laundry aid that helps wring out clothes. It sort of made sense when you read the whole sentence.

I don't know who supports Puddlemere United. I know Dumbledore does...and I think Oliver joined the team, but...

And bulrushes are the things on the Puddlemere United symbol-thing.

...I assumed the uvula was somewhere around your throat 'cause it would stop you from talking?
