Dear Show:
If you're trying to impress me with Stefan's ~extensive knowledge of history~, you've failed miserably. People are impressed because he ... knows what year Pearl Harbor was bombed? Because he knows what year the Civil Rights Act was? (The Act that's frequently referred to as the Civil Rights Act of 1964?) Because he knows what year JFK was assassinated?
This impresses a HISTORY teacher why? If you're a good history teacher, ALL your students should know this stuff already, unless maybe they are freshmen. This isn't even WORLD history stuff, this is stuff that's covered in U.S. History. I mean, as a HISTORY teacher, ... you should also know what year the Korean War ended. Especially if you're going to pop-quiz a student on it. Just saying.
I find this entire setup ridiculous and implausible. Even if he DID demonstrate knowledge of history that I found impressive, I would still find the students' reactions unrealistic.
ALSO, I fail to understand why ... playing football (a full-contact sport) somehow goes hand in hand with ... going incognito as a vampire ...?
I'm only watching this because I've been told it gets better.
No Love,
Me
