Yeah, I feel like Minglan's intelligence makes sense in a transmigration context (if she's an adult transmigrated into a child's body, so her wisdom beyond her years make sense) but also makes sense without the transmigration context (because you can see how trauma and her particular childhood shaped her into maturing early).
And yes, the actress who plays bb!Minglan is crazy good! I was going to say "good for a child actor" but I think she's just as good as many adult actors!
